Bedtime Fantasy – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bedtime Fantasy mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian. The App is designed for adults (parents/guardians) to create bedtime stories for children.
2. License and Use
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on a device that you own or control.
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; (b) copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App; (c) interfere with or disrupt the App; (d) use the App in violation of any law or third‑party rights.
3. Accounts and Authentication
The App requires Apple Sign In when generating your first story. This authentication is handled entirely by Apple's Sign In with Apple service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your sign‑in credentials. After the first sign-in, you can generate unlimited stories without additional authentication.
Your Apple Sign In account is managed entirely by Apple through iOS Settings. We do not create, manage, or store user accounts on our servers.
4. Story Generation and Content
The App generates personalized bedtime stories based on information you provide (child's name, age, gender, and selected genre). All story generation happens locally on your device. Generated stories are for personal use only and are not saved or transmitted to external servers.
You are responsible for the information you provide and for ensuring it is appropriate. Stories are generated using templates and algorithms - we do not guarantee story content, accuracy, or suitability for any particular purpose.
5. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the practices described there.
6. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, functionality, and story templates are owned by the App's publisher and are protected by intellectual property laws. Story images included in the app bundle are the property of their respective owners or are used under appropriate licenses. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Generated stories are for your personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit generated stories without permission.
7. Third‑Party Services
Certain features may rely on third‑party services (e.g., Apple Sign In, Apple AVSpeechSynthesizer). Your use of those services may be subject to the third party's terms. We are not responsible for third‑party services or content.
8. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR‑FREE, OR SECURE.
We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or appropriateness of generated stories. Stories are generated automatically using templates and may not be suitable for all children or circumstances.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.
11. Changes to the App or Terms
We may modify or discontinue the App (in whole or in part) at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest changes. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in your place of residence, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles, unless otherwise required by the laws of your jurisdiction.
