BudgetAnytime (iOS) – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how BudgetAnytime (“we”, “our”, “us”) handles information when you use our iOS application (“App”). It is designed to meet Apple App Store requirements and to be easy to read on mobile.

- We do not sell your data.
- Your transactions are stored locally on your iPhone/iPad only.
- Audio is used to transcribe your voice and is not saved.
- Google Sign‑In and Apple Sign In (optional) are used only for authentication of a feature; we don't build a user profile.
- No advertising tracking. We do not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT).
What We Collect
1) Transactions (on‑device)
- Amounts, categories, notes, dates you add or dictate
- Stored locally as a JSON file in the App’s sandbox
- Not transmitted to our servers
2) Microphone and Speech Recognition (on‑device)
- Purpose: Convert your voice into text to create a transaction
- Processing: Apple’s Speech framework on iOS
- Storage: Audio is processed in real time and not stored by the App
- Permissions: Microphone and Speech Recognition permissions are requested by iOS
3) Google Account and Apple ID (optional)
- Data: Name and email from your Google profile or Apple ID when you choose to sign in
- Purpose: Enable "Query by Date" feature access
- Processing/Storage: Authentication handled by Firebase Authentication (Google) and Apple's Sign In with Apple; we do not store credentials or profile data on our servers
4) Device and Diagnostics
- Network connectivity status (for sign‑in only)
- Crash logs only if you choose to share them with developers via Apple mechanisms
How We Use Information
- Create and manage your transactions on‑device
- Transcribe your dictated expenses
- Provide optional sign‑in to unlock a feature
- Generate export files (CSV/PDF) when you request them
We do not use your information for advertising or cross‑app tracking.
Where Your Data Lives
On Your Device
- Transactions are stored only on your device in the App’s private container
- Deleting the App removes local data
With Authentication Provider (if used)
- Google Sign‑In is provided by Firebase Authentication
- Apple Sign In is provided by Apple's Sign In with Apple service
- Authentication tokens are used solely to verify your identity within the App
We do not operate our own servers for your personal transaction data.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data. We may disclose information only:
- If required by law or legal process
- To protect our rights, users, or property
- With your explicit consent
Third parties involved:
- Firebase Authentication (Google) – sign‑in only
- Apple Sign In with Apple – sign‑in only
Your Choices and Controls
- Edit or delete transactions anytime within the App
- Export your data (CSV/PDF) when needed
- Revoke Microphone/Speech permissions in iOS Settings
- Sign out of Google or Apple at any time; revoke app access in your Google Account settings or Apple ID settings
Data deletion:
- Remove the App to delete on‑device data
- Google account data is governed by Google's own privacy settings
- Apple ID data is governed by Apple's own privacy settings
Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
International Users
Your transaction data is stored on your device. If you use Google Sign‑In or Apple Sign In, Google/Firebase or Apple may process authentication data according to their policies and infrastructure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and, if changes are material, display a notice within the App.

- Data Linked to You: Contact info (name, email) only if you choose Google Sign‑In or Apple Sign In, used for authentication
- Data Not Linked to You: On‑device transactions remain on your device and are not collected by us
